The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God

When we read the headlines on any internet media platform or television on any day, we get a sense of the wisdom of this world: “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

News headlines such as celebrity breakups, makeups; body shaming; slamming; worst dress; best dress; most expensive dress; beauty tips; and the list goes on.

“The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men” (Proverbs 24:9).

“The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness” (Proverbs 15:2).

Jesus explained “That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man” (Mark 7:20-23).
Every day let us remember how we are to live in this world of foolishness according to the instructions of Paul who said: “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise; Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:15-20).

To obtain LIGHT to be REDEEMED to HEAVEN all GOD is asking of humans is to REPENT OF SINS and BELIEVE in HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50). “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
