Abomination - Confusion - Reprobate mind:
The word of God says: “Thou shalt not lie
with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with
any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a
beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion” (Leviticus 18:22–23).
Notwithstanding the loving kindness of God
and the proof of the word of life, many to this day (as it was in early Rome
during the time of the Apostle Paul) still believe that this is the only life,
and it is to be lived as they please.
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile
affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is
against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which
is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which
was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil
things” (Romans 1:26–30).
“But we are sure that the judgment of God is
according to truth against them which commit such things” (Romans 2:2).
“Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting”
(Galatians 6:7–8).
