WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
There will be numerous reactions to this
photograph: it may be ignored; perhaps doubted or even rejected as nonsense.
However, just be reminded that when Noah was building the ark, he too was
ignored. Also, when Lot told his two sons in laws the night before that they
had to leave Sodom and Gomorrah because it was going to be destroyed, they
refused to believe him, and even mocked him.
Jesus says: “The time is fulfilled, and the
Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “I
came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). “Except
ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).
Jesus also warned that his coming will be
just as in the days of Noe before the great flood, and in the days of Lot in
Sodom and Gomorrah. He expressed how “they did eat, they drank, they married
wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the
ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted,
they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and
brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:27–29).
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is
come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou
shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and
them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which
destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18).
“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and
all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:7).
“Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13).
