Paradise or Perdition?
When Friday comes, the weekend is being look
forward to, knowing that it is a time to relax and rest, at least for those working
during the week.
A Friday is coming, when it will be the last
Friday on this earth, before the Last Day. Jesus says: “But of that day and
hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew
24:36).
On the Last Day will be peace and rest forever
for those who get to Paradise (Matthew 25:31-34).
On the other hand, for all others there will
be no rest day or night, and torment forever in Perdition: “And death and hell
were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was
not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”
(Revelation 20:14–15).
Today, while it is today, is a good day to
accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, Savior and King.
“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee,
even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we
preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:8-10).
