Quickening S P I R I T.
“Now
this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50).
“Now
if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be
in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead
dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:9-11).
The
Apostle Paul further described the events for those who are “…Christ’s at his
coming…” (1 Corinthians 15:23) when the seventh angel sounds on the LAST DAY (Revelation
11:15), said: “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [LAST] trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:52–53).
“For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first,
then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1
Thessalonians 4:16–17).
“Therefore,
brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye
live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Romans 8:12-13).
