LIFETIME versus LIFE.
When
God created man he was only given a lifetime.
“And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7).
We
only have a “…breath of life…” or a Lifetime; we do not have Life because of
the transgressions of the first man Adam and Woman Eve (Genesis 2:16–17).
“For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as
in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians
15:21–22).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
The
Apostle Paul said: “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the
earth. For ye are dead, and your life is
hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:2–3).
Jesus
Christ, the only begotten Son of God says: “Search the Scriptures; for in them
ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will
not come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:39–40).
“I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
(John 14:6).
