R E D E M P T I O N or S A L V A T I O N.
The
word “rapture” is an idle vain word; it is NOT a word of God.
Let
us be reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ says: It is written, that man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).
We
must have obedience to the word of God as elect children of God because the
Apostle Paul said: “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, [THE SPIRIT THAT
NOW WORKETH IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE]” (Ephesians 2:2).
PETER,
an apostle of Jesus Christ said: “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God
the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, [UNTO OBEDIENCE AND
SPRINKLING OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST]: Grace unto you, and peace, be
multiplied.
Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant
mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead,
To
an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved
in heaven for you,
Who
are kept by the power of God through [FAITH UNTO SALVATION] ready to be
revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:2-5).
We
must be ready for the DAY of JUDGMENT because the Apostle Paul said: “Work out
your own [SALVATION] with fear and trembling that ye may approve things that
are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the [DAY OF
CHRIST]” (Philippians 2:12, 1:10).
Jesus
says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
[KINGDOM OF HEAVEN]; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven” (Matthew 7:21). “For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew
22:14).
“He
that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the
word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the [LAST DAY]” (John
12:48).
“But
I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give
account thereof in the [DAY OF JUDGMENT]. For by thy words thou shalt be
justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:36-37).
“Blessed
are they that hear the word of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28).
