GOD of TRUTH versus god of this world, the god of lies.
“God
is the LORD, which hath shewed us light:” (Psalm 118:27).
“He
is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth
and without iniquity, just and right is he” (Deuteronomy 22:4).
“For
the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all
gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens”
(Psalm 96:4–5).
From
the beginning of time, there has been the ‘spiritual war’ whether to believe
the Holy One of the truth (Genesis 2:16–17) or believe the wicked one of the
lie (Genesis 3:4), and this war is still raging to this day.
On
the Last Day, the Day of Judgment where every human being ends up will be
direct result of whether they believed the God of TRUTH or the god of this
world, father of lies (John 8:43-47).
“That
he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth;
and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the
former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For,
behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that
which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a
joy” (Isaiah 65:16-18).
“For
this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all
men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy
2:3-4).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God says: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the
end come” (Matthew 24:14).
