L I V I N G SACRIFICE.
The
Apostle Paul said: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).
“Now
the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that
committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:13).
“Nevertheless,
to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have
her own husband” (1 Corinthians 7:2). Paul, the Apostle also wrote about the
unmarried, widows and widowers, said: “If they cannot contain, let them marry:
for it is better to marry than to burn” (1 Corinthians 7:8-9).
“Know
ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in
you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple
of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17).
“Now
the God of peace be with you all. Amen” (Romans 15:33).
