Are we under the Law or grace of Jesus Christ?
The Apostle Paul preached tirelessly to the
people of Israel and Gentiles about them going back under the law and not
falling under the grace of Jesus Christ.
“For Christ is the end of the law for
righteousness to every one that believeth. For the scripture saith, Whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the
Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon
him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans
10:4, 11-13).
The Apostle Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles
also very eloquently explained, saying:
“Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to
bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith
is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of
God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into
Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither
bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according
to the promise” (Galatians 3:24-29).
“But
that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for,
The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that
doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the
law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth
on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through
Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith”
(Galatians 3:11-14).
