A world of illusion: It’s all a deception!
A world of illusion: It’s all an deception!
The word of God says: “Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world” (1 John 2:15).
“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness
with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).
“If any man loves the world, the love of the
Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of
the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth
the will of God abideth forever” (1 John 2:16–17).
Unfortunately, at this moment in time many
people are at ease and in love with the things of this world, and mocking the
word of God as Peter foretold “…that there shall come in the last days
scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of
his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were
from the beginning of the creation’” (2 Peter 3:3-4).
However, “The day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works
that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that
that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light” (1
Thessalonians 5:4–5).
Jesus says: “Watch ye therefore, and pray
always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall
come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:34–36).
