We must always have light to guide us as we to walk to the End:
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight)” (2
Corinthians 5:7).
Jesus says: “‘Are there not twelve hours in
the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the
light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because
there is no light in him” (John 11:9-10).
“I am the light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”
(John 8:12).
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light
of the world” (John 9:5).
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief
in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and
the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that
are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:5-6, 10).
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that
that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light” (1
Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“Watch ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know
these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the
wicked, fall from your own stedfastness” (2 Peter 3:17).
“Now
the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of
them that believe to the saving of the soul” (Hebrews 10:38–39).
