House of God:
Too much time is wasted debating the word of
God instead of building the house of God, “Who hath saved us, and called us
with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own
purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began”
(2 Timothy 1:9).
Notwithstanding the proliferation of
religions and church denominations, there is only one building of the Kingdom
of God through the Holy Spirit, built upon the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom all the
building fitly framed together to grow to the end of time unto a holy temple in
the Lord (Ephesians 2:20–22).
At the end of time, it is not a specific
religion or church denomination as it is the doctrines of many that will be
redeemed from this earth. We are to beware of adhering to the doctrines and
commandments of men (Matthew 15:8–9).
“For Christ is the end of the law for
righteousness to every one that believeth. For the scripture saith, Whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the
Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon
him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans
10:4, 11-13).
The house of God is not in physical buildings
with different names, but in Jesus the Son, who is over his own house, whose
house are we, and we must hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope
firm unto the end (Hebrews 3:6).
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of
the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation
2:7).
