Repentance:
“God is not a man, that he should lie;
neither the Son of man, that he should repent” (Numbers 23:19).
“Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:29-31).

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God: “…that
man whom he hath ordained…” says: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of
God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “…except ye
repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:5). “For I came down from
heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).
“The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2
Peter 3:9).
