This heaven and earth will pass away!
Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth
because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable
(Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of
everlasting habitations. This heaven and
earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1).
God “hath made of one blood all nations of
men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times
before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26).
Jesus is very clear when he says: “Heaven and
earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved:
he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The earth and all the inhabitants
thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. But God is the
judge: [HE PUTTETH DOWN ONE, AND SETTETH UP ANOTHER]” (Psalms 46:6, 75:3, 7).
Peter confirmed this when he said: “Nevertheless we, according to his promise,
look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter
3:13).
“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the
heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19).Jesus is very clear when he says: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2–3).
