Spiritual WAR: TRUTH versus Lies. LIFE versus Death.
“Who changed the truth of
God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator,
who is blessed forever? Amen” (Romans 1:25).
From the beginning of time,
there has been the ‘spiritual war’ whether to believe the Holy One of the truth
(Genesis 2:16–17) or believe the wicked one of the lie (Genesis 3:4), and this
war is still raging to this day.
The Apostle Paul put this
into perspective when he said, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). “For
rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil” (Romans 13:3).
The god of this world, the
prince of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the dragon, the
Devil, also known as Satan, the wicked one, the fallen once anointed angel,
Lucifer, and all his fallen angels which are locked in chains of darkness want
all humans to believe that this world on this earth will be saved, but it is a
false hope for the future. Nothing in this world is going to last forever. Do
not fall into the web of deceit and lies of the prince of this world “because
he knoweth that he hath but a short time” (Revelation 12:12).
Today, a large percentage of
people on this earth, unfortunately, do not realize how the prince of this
world is deceiving the whole world. The prince of this world, the devil aka
Satan, just as he uses riches, also uses beauty as a disguise to deceive the
whole world.
The Apostle Paul well noted
that we must examine ourselves, whether we are in the faith and are living by
the gospel of the truth when he said:
“Examine
yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your
own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I
trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Now I pray to God that ye
do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that
which is honest, though we be as reprobates. For we can do nothing against the
truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:5-8). “And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
