JESUS comes as a thief in the Night.
Jesus says: “Behold, I come
as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk
naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“But ye, brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the
children of light” (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“Therefore let us not sleep,
as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the
night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are
of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet,
the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain
salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-9).
“Be patient therefore,
brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the
precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive
the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the
coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (James 5:7–8).
“Watch therefore: for ye
know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42). “Be ye therefore ready
also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not” (Luke 12:40).
“Behold, he cometh with
clouds; and [EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM], and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation
1:7).
“He which testifieth these
things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelvation 22:20-21).
