GOD was, is and will always be GOD.
“Let every soul be subject
unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be
are ordained of God” (Romans 13:1).
“For there is one God, and
one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a
ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).
“For as the Father rises up
the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the
Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all
men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not
the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him. For as the Father hath
life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath
given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man”
(John 5: 21–23, 26–27).
“Who will render to every
man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient
continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal
life:
But unto them that are
contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation
and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of
the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and
peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the
Gentile:
For there is no respect of
persons with God” (Romans 2:6-11).
“Whosoever therefore
resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall
receive to themselves damnation” (Romans 13:2).
“For the wrath of God is
revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who
hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). “Upon the wicked he shall
rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion
of their cup” (Psalm 11:6).
“The
LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Seek
the LORD, and ye shall live” (Amos 5:6).
