At the END: A frame of LIGHT or worms?
This question may not be
readily comprehended, so let us examine it.
When God created the first
man it is written: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”
(Genesis 2:7).
After God created the first
man, Adam, who disobeyed the word of God, he said: “In the sweat of thy face
shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou
taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return” (Genesis 3:19).
To God we human beings are
nothing more than a worm (Isaiah 41:13-14). “How much less man, that is a worm;
and the Son of man, which is a worm?” (Job 25:6). “For he knoweth our frame; he
remembereth that we are dust” (Psalm 103:14).
When human beings die the
word of God says: “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the
spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Vanity of vanities, saith the
preacher; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 12:7-8).
On the Day of Judgment, the Last
Day at the End of the World, the prophet Daniel said: “And many of them that
sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some
to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2).
To obtain everlasting life,
our frame must me changed to ‘Light’: “Wherefore
God saith: ‘Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall
give thee light’” (Ephesians 5:14).
On the other hand for those
who do not obtain ‘Light’ will obtain shame (naked) and everlasting contempt, “This
is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:14–15).
“And it shall come to pass,
that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all
flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and
look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their
[WORM SHALL NOT DIE], neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be
an abhorring unto all flesh” (Isaiah 66:23–24).
“And the Devil that deceived
them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And
the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest
day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the
mark of his name” (Revelation 20:11, 14:11).
