The Apostle Paul said: “Work
out your own salvation with fear and trembling that ye may approve things that
are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of
Christ” (Philippians 2:12, 1:10).
“But what saith it? The word
is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith,
which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. [FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND WITH THE
MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION]. For the Scripture saith, whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed” (Romans 10:8–11).
“For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the [Gentile]” (Romans 1:16).
“THE LORD is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).
Jesus Christ, only begotten
of the Father (John 1:14) says: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your
Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
