What is life? Life is hidden in Jesus Christ (Romans 5:21).
Being alive on this earth does not mean that
we have life. The day that we were born, we were already bonded to die. Since
the death of the first man Adam and the first woman Eve, we have all been
condemned to death: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after
this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
From the first man and woman, Adam and Eve,
we have all been made from the dust of this earth, and then become a living
soul (Genesis 2:7). At the end of time, all who obtain the reward of
inheritance will be given the hidden treasure of light by Jesus Christ to be
transformed into a quickening spirit of the heavenly (1 Corinthians 15:45–46).
“The
first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As
is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such
are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly” (1 Corinthians 15:47–49).
