Eternal Life:

We must remember in time past when a certain young lawyer asked Jesus, “Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (Luke 18:18).

Jesus answered, “Why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, God” (Luke 18:19).

Jesus then answered saying: “Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother” (Luke 18:20). Jesus also told to the young man saying: “But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17).

Jesus also told his disciples saying:“If ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him” (John 14:15, 21).

God has declared, saying: “Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live” (Proverbs 4:4).

This heaven and earth will pass away!

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations.   This heaven and earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1). God “hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26). Jesus is very clear when he says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). “The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. PERFECT PEACE. Irrespective of what is taking place and will happen in the future in this world we must TRUST IN GOD to keep ourselves in PERFECT PEACE.

“Thou wilt keep him in [PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE]: because he [TRUSTETH] in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE].
