“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God: “…that man whom he hath ordained…” says: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “…except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:5). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations.   This heaven and earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1). “[IN HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD], that cannot lie, [PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (Titus 1:2). After Noah and his family came out of the ark after the great flood, God promised that the earth will not perish again by a great flood. God declared to Noah: “[I DO SET MY BOW IN THE CLOUD], and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh” (Genesis 9:13, 15).
