“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
Absolutely nothing in this world on this
earth will be remembered except the word of God: “For, behold, I create new
heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into
mind” (Isaiah 65:17).
Jesus says: “Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think
ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not
come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:39–40).
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they
are life” (John 6:63).
“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise
perish” (Luke 13:5). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but
the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
