Repent, Repent and Repent:
If we know to say: “I am sorry” in a situation
when we have hurt someone or done something wrong; then how difficult is it to
say to the Creator: God, the Father: “I am sorry for my sins”?
“And the times of this ignorance God winked
at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath
[APPOINTED A DAY], in the which he will [JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY
THAT MAN WHOM HE HATH ORDAINED]; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men,
in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans
10:9-10).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
