One day it’s all going to end! (Revelation 11:18) (Revelation 16:17–18, 20–21).

Absolutely nothing will be remembered of this world (Isaiah 65:17-18).

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

Jesus says: “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).  “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever” (1 John 2:15–17).

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). “[IN HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD], that cannot lie, [PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (Titus 1:2). After Noah and his family came out of the ark after the great flood, God promised that the earth will not perish again by a great flood. God declared to Noah: “[I DO SET MY BOW IN THE CLOUD], and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh” (Genesis 9:13, 15).
