Jesus Christ:
Two thousand or so years ago, a person name
Jesus was commanded by his Father to give his life for the human race (John 3:16-18,
6:38). This is very, very, very serious
because who do we know would willing give their life for anyone?
“For scarcely for a righteous man will one
die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us” (Romans 5:7-8).
God specifically sent his only begotten Son
“forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him
that had the power of death, that is, the Devil; and deliver them who through
fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Hebrews 2:14–15).
“For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as
in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians
15:21–22).
