Good Friday: Repentance

Every human alive today would be wise to come to repentance of sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior and King. The prophet Isaiah foretold of the day of Jesus’ crucifixion when he said:

“I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting” (Isaiah 50:6).

On the day that our Lord, Savior and King was crucified, he endured unimaginable things at the hands of the roman soldiers who mocked, scourge and spit on him (Mark 10:24).

“And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Prætorium; and they call together the whole band. And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!

And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him” (Mark 15:16-20).

This heaven and earth will pass away!

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations.   This heaven and earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1). C H R I S T = The CROSS versus Antichrist = the world.

The rise of the Antichrist is coming! The day is soon coming when a king will rise to power ruling from Jerusalem, and he will deceive the whole world! DO NOT BE DECEIVED! JESUS, the true Messiah, the Savior of the world already came to this EARTH (John 3:16-18)! “The disciple John said” And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world” (1 John 4:14). There is only ONE KING of the JEWS: JESUS, the only begotten Son of God (Matthew 2:2). During the trial before his crucifixion, Pilate wanted to know more about Jesus. “And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, ‘Art thou the King of the Jews?’ And Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou sayest’” (Matthew 27:11). GOD keeps his PROMISES: GOD’s two key PROMISES to human beings: The BOW IN THE CLOUD and THE C R O S S.

“[IN HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD], that cannot lie, [PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (Titus 1:2). After Noah and his family came out of the ark after the great flood, God promised that the earth will not perish again by a great flood. God declared to Noah: “[I DO SET MY BOW IN THE CLOUD], and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh” (Genesis 9:13, 15). God promised to to save human beings who believe in his only begotten Son before heaven and earth perishes by fire on the Last Day. “[FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE].
