Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today,
and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
The disciple Peter expressed that Jesus “Whos
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, the Son of
God, the faithful and true witness of God and that the trial of our faith,
being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with
fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ. Whom having not seen, we love; in whom, though we now see him not, yet
believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end
of our faith, even the salvation of our souls” (1 Peter 1:7–9).
“And he is the head of the body, the church:
who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might
have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness
dwell” (Colossians 1:18–19).
Jesus revealed saying: “I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and
which is to come, the Almighty. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye
shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth
shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:8-9).
