King Jesus’ victory on the cross at Calvary (Luke 23:33)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:1-2, 14). The Apostle Paul explained how “…God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh;...” (Romans 8:2–4). There is probably no greater celebration in our lifetime than to give thanks to God who give is the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary (1 Corinthians 15:57-58). “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
