The LAST DAY = DAY OF JUDGMENT = GATHERING then comes REDEMPTION of the KINGDOM to HEAVEN before the END.
On
the day that Jesus returns, the Last Day will commence the gathering unto
himself, his sheepfold away from the goats (Matthew 25:31–34) (Matthew
13:37–43).
Jesus
says: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and [KEEPETH HIS
GARMENTS, LEST HE WALK NAKED], and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that [EVERY ONE MAY
RECEIVE THE THINGS DONE IN HIS BODY], according to that he hath done, whether
it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Jesus
is very clear when he asks: “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he
find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8).
“The
LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and
his name one. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives,
which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in
the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a
very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and
half of it toward the south” (Zechariah 14:8–9, 4).
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall
be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the
LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:31-32).
“Now
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by [OUR
GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the
obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand
fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or
our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ
himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us
everlasting consolation and good hope through grace” (2 Thessalonians 2:1,
14-16).
“Then
cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power” (1
Corinthians 15:24).
