The word of GOD versus the World.
Our lifetime on this earth
is all vanity.
“For the creature was made
subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the
same in hope” (Romans 8:20).
“For we know that the whole
creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8:22).
“Therefore we are always
confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from
the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6–7).
Our Lord, Savior and King
Jesus says: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
(Mark 8:36-37).
“It is written, that man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).
“The time is fulfilled, and
the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15).
“And this gospel of the
kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and
then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14).
“Blessed are they that hear
the word of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28).
“It is the spirit that
quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they
are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
“Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
