Who will inherit the KINGDOM OF GOD?
The Apostle
Paul said: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
Paul
also explained, said: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are
these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell
you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19–21).
“But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith” (Galatians 5:22).
“So
then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Therefore, brethren, we are
debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the
flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the
body, ye shall live” (Romans 8:8, 12-13).
“If
we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).
“Who
is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of
God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water
only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness,
because the Spirit is truth” (1 John 5:5–6).
“For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy
Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one” (1 John
5:7–8).
