By the word of GOD the HEAVENS were Created.
“The
heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork”
(Psalm 19:1).
“The
LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. Who is like
unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high” (Psalm 113:4-5).
To
believe that human beings can leave this earth and go anywhere is disbelieve there
is a God, the Creator.
“By
the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath
of his mouth” (Psalm 33:6).
“The
heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness
thereof, thou hast founded them” (Psalm 89:11).
We
must be reminded when God asked Job: “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of
Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” (Job 38:31).
God
created all space and the seven star systems (Amos 5:8), to name a few,
“Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south” (Job 9:9).
Although
this heaven and earth will pass away, we must be always comforted knowing that
Jesus says: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there
ye may be also” (John 14:2-3).
“The
heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the
children of men” (Psalm 115:16).
“Praise
ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun
and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens,
and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD:
for he commanded, and they were created” (Psalm 148:1–5).
