“NOW
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1).
“For
we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with
patience wait for it” (Romans 8:24-25).
“For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is
written, The just shall live by faith. For the invisible things of him from the
creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are
made, even his eternal power and Godhead” (Romans 1:17, 20).
“While
we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
“For
we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens” (2
Corinthians 5:1).
“Therefore,
my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”
(1 Corinthians 15:58).
“For
ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26).
