GOD is L O V E.
“God is love; and he that
dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16).
“We love him, because he
first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
“For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John
3:16-17).
“He that loveth not knoweth
not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the
love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we
loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for
our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us,
we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any
time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in
us” (1 John 4:8-12).
“Love worketh no ill to his
neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10).
“Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins” (Proverbs 10:12).
“There
is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).
