L I G H T OF L I F E.
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“He
that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God” (John 3:18).
“And
this is the condemnation, that [LIGHT IS COME INTO THE WORLD], and men loved
darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that
doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they
are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God says: “[I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD]: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the [LIGHT OF LIFE]”
(John 8:12).
“As
long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).
“I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).
“For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as
in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in
his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his
coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to
God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority
and power” (1 Corinthians 15:21-24).
