“The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20).
“Now the body is not for fornication, but for
the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man
doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against
his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:13).
“Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote
unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid
fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own
husband. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry
than to burn” (1 Corinthians 7:1-2, 9).
“Now
the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of
them that believe to the saving of the soul” (Hebrews 10:38–39).
