Day of our Lord:
We must consider that out of the population
of the old world only eight (8) people were saved; and only three (3) out of
the population of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Jesus warns that his coming is going to
be just as in the days of Noah and Lot when people of those generations
believed that nothing was going happen but, it did (Matthew 24:37) (Luke
17:27–29).
We know that the coming of our Lord, Savior
and King will catch most people by surprise because Jesus says: “Behold, I come
as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk
naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
The Book of Revelation says: “And the nations
were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should
be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets,
and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; [AND SHOULDEST
DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH]” (Revelation 11:18).
“And the kings of the earth, and the great
men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every
bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the
mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from
the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For
the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to [STAND]?”
(Revelation 6:15-17).
“Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to [STAND] before the Son of man”
(Luke 21:36).
