Kingdom of God
In this present day, as it was in the old
times, among many of us, the spiritual Kingdom of God is not really understood,
and Jesus clarified this “when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the
Kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, the Kingdom of God
cometh not with observation. Neither shall they say, lo here! Or, lo there!
For, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20–21).
Anyone who seeks to enter in the Kingdom of
God must come to repentance and confess their sins to God in the name of the
Son of God. “For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time
when thou mayest be found” (Psalm 32:6). “I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and
mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the
LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin” (Psalm 32:5).
To enter into the Kingdom of God, we must
become baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; converted;
keep God’s commandments; and live every day in his righteousness (Acts 3:19).
During his time, Jesus pointed out, “If a man
loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come
unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
