Knowledge of the truth.
Do not let the time pass by and you have not
come to knowledge of the truth. What truth?
Word of God.
Word of God.
“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and
read” (Isaiah 34:16) to obtain knowledge of the truth; “Knowing this first,
that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the
prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as
they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:19–21).
“All scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
“They
that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and
honor” (Proverbs 21:21). “Laying up in
store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may
lay hold on eternal life” (1 Timothy 6:19).
