Good
tidings and things are coming to those who have FAITH and WAIT.
God
is Good (Psalm 73:1) (Matthew 19:17).
“For
since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear,
neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him
that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).
“And how shall they preach, except they be
sent? as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:15).
“But
Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more
perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in
once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” (Hebrews 9:11-12).
“And
let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint
not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially
unto them who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:9-10).
“Now
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1).
“While we
look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen;
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
“Wherefore,
beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found
of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14). “For therein is
the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the
just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17).
“Wait
on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Delight
thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”
(Psalms 27:14, 37:4).
“The
LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is
good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the
LORD” (Lamentations 3:25-26).“Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors” (Proverbs 8:34).
