PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD.
“PRAISE
ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his
power Let [EVERY THING THAT HATH BREATH] praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD”
(Psalm 150:1, 6).
Many
people may not be aware of this fact that ALL things were created by the LORD God
for HIS OWN PLEASURE.
“THE
Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants
things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his
angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the
testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw” (Revelation 1:1-2).
“AFTER
this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice
which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up
hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
And
immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and
one sat on the throne.
And
he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a
rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
And
round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw
four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their
heads crowns of gold” (Revelation 4:1-4).
“The
four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship
him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne,
saying,
‘Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: [FOR THOU HAST
CREATED ALL THINGS, AND FOR THY PLEASURE THEY ARE AND WERE CREATED]’”
(Revelation 4:10-11).
The
word of God says : “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so
also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel
18:4).
“Have
I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not
that he should return from his ways, and live? For I have no pleasure in the
death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and
live ye” (Ezekiel 18:23, 32).
“The
eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs
15:3).
