GOD is a SPIRIT.
“Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8) says: “God is
a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”
(John 4:23–24).
Paul,
the Apostle to the Gentiles said: “So then they that are in the flesh cannot
please God” (Romans 8:8).
To
get to the Paradise of God to be with God forever, our human body must become a
quickening Spirit. Only Jesus Christ has been given the power to quicken our
mortal bodies (John 3:16-18, 14:6).
The
Apostle Paul also said: “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the Kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1
Corinthians 15:50).
“For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that
are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind
is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:5-8).
“Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting”
(Galatians 6:7–8).
