Do you know GOD?
“God
is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even
unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art
my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his
mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 118:27-29).
“Thus
saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the
LORD is his name” (Jeremiah 33:2).
“PRAISE
ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his
power. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD”
(Psalm 150:1, 6).
“Great
is our LORD, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. He telleth the
number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names” (Psalm 147:4–5).
“Hast
thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the
Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no
searching of his understanding” (Isaiah 40:28-31).
“Thus
saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the
mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in
the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 9:23-24).
“Behold,
God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom” (Job
36:5).
“As
thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in
the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God
who maketh all” (Ecclesiastes 11:5).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God says: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).
“This
then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God
is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
“Blessed
be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the
people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).
