P R A Y and not Faint.
“If
thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” (Proverbs 24:10).
Jesus
pointed out that we ought to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1), and says: “When ye
pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for
your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew
6:7-8).
“In the day of prosperity be
joyful, but in the day of adversity consider. God also hath set the one over
against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him”
(Ecclesiastes 7:14).
