This is the Earth’s END!
“THUS saith the LORD, The
heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye
build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?” (Isaiah 66:1).
When Jesus ascended up to
heaven to the Majesty of the most High, these words were exchanged between the
Father and his only begotten Son: “Sit thou at my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool” (Psalm 110:1).
“And, Thou, Lord, in the
beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works
of thine hands. They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax
old as doth a garment” (Hebrews 1:10–11).
“But unto the Son he saith,
‘Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the
scepter of thy kingdom’” (Hebrews 1:8).
At the end of time, this
heaven and earth will be completely dissolved (Isaiah 24:19); it will become,
as it is written, the footstool of the enemies of Jesus. God will “persecute
and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD” (Lamentations
3:66).
“The wicked shall be turned
into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).
“The same shall drink of the
wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of
his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb” (Revelation
14:10).
“And the Devil that deceived
them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And
the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest
day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the
mark of his name” (Revelation 20:11, 14:11).
“And
the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great
voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, ‘It is done’”
(Revelation 16:17).
