H E A V E N or hell?
“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the
heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19).
“Thus saith the LORD, the heaven is my
throne, and the earth is my footstool” (Isaiah 66:1).
When Jesus ascended up to heaven to the
Majesty of the most High God, the Father said unto the Son: “Sit thou at my
right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Psalm 110:1).
“And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid
the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands. They
shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment”
(Hebrews 1:10–11).
“But unto the Son he saith, ‘Thy throne, O
God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy
kingdom’” (Hebrews 1:8).
At the end of time, this earth will be
completely dissolved (Isaiah 24:19); it will become, as it is written, the
footstool of the enemies of Jesus because God will “persecute and destroy them
in anger from under the heavens of the LORD” (Lamentations 3:66).
“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and
all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).
“Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire
and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup”
(Psalm 11:6).
“And the Devil that deceived them was cast
into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And the smoke of their
torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name”
(Revelation 20:11, 14:11).
