What is God?
Jesus, the only begotten Son
of God says: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).
“Behold, God is mighty, and
despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom” (Jib 36:5).
“God is the LORD, which hath
shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the
altar. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt
thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for
ever” (Psalm 118:27-29).
“PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise
God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Let every thing
that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:1, 6).
“Thus saith the LORD, Let
not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his
might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth
glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which
exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in
these things I delight, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 9:23-24).
“Thus saith the LORD the
maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name”
(Jeremiah 33:2).
“Blessed
be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the
people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).
