Deceitfulness of riches in this world versus the word of G O D:
DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY RICHES
IN THIS WORLD!
Thousands of years ago after
losing the war in heaven, one third of the stars fell from heaven and were cast
down to the nether parts of this earth (Revelation 12:4). The Devil, aka Satan,
the prince of this world, the prince of the power of the air and his fallen
stars continue to deceive the whole world (Revelation 12:12) (2 Corinthians
11:14).
“Riches profit not in the
day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death” (Proverbs 11:4).
Jesus points out, says:
“Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the
abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke 12:15). “For what is a man
profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall
a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Jesus. also expressed that
we must not “Let the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and
the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word and it becometh
unfruitful” (Mark 4:19).
“No servant can serve two
masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will
hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Luke
16:13).
“It is the spirit that
quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they
are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
“Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“Forever,
O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
